~ Lineup ~
7PM: Agostino Minter
Agostino is a songwriter who considers, celebrates, and occasionally reviles American life. His influences include classical, rock samba, and rap music but do not include smooth jazz, and John Denver. He plays with a band in Providence RI, and writes for himself and others.
8PM: Nikki Alberic
Nikki Alberic is a wanderer, singing stories of different lives, lands, and times. Her voice is soothing and her heart is deep. Her poignant, sometimes funny, lyrics aim to capture the beautiful melancholy of life. She blends folk with blues and pop, with music that feels like a warm, cozy space with dim lighting, good wine, or a whiskey.
7PM: Danny Rivera
Danny Rivera is an Boston-native singer, songwriter, record producer, pianist, and guitarist. Danny’s music, which is currently available on all music platforms, is primarily R&B and Pop. He sings in both the baritone and tenor ranges, effectively rendering him a baritenor. Keep up with Danny via social media at @dannyrivera_
Sur5ILL (pronounced survival) is a rapper/producer/guitarist from Boston, Massachusetts whose unconventional, nerdy style and topics have earned him a reputation as somewhat of an antihero in various musical circles. The wiry wordsmith has released five projects from 2013 to 2018 (@golerflame Mixtape, Work, Exception, Satire and Goaler) which feature a rapid, multi-syllabic cadence blended with atypical narratives and smooth beats ranging from Latin lounge to trap.
Brocade is an unusual trio featuring Rayna Jhaveri on melodica, Morgan Packard on accordion, and Mark Wittels on alto sax. Inspired by music from around the world, their repertoire spans reggae, cumbia, soul, 90s jams, Balkan dances, and original compositions.
8PM: The Sound Down Cellar
The Sound Down Cellar is an electric collective who try to play at the edge of popular dissonance. The current lineup features violin, trumpet and a couple of velvet underground covers.
7PM: Sweet Petunia
Sweet Petunia is a Boston based, queer, female, Folk-Americana power duo composed of musicians Madison Simpson and Mairead Guy. They play big music with small instruments, packed with emotion and political commentary.
8PM: Sam Bayer and David Troen-Krasnow
Boston musician Sam Bayer is your literate, exuberant guide to an imaginary world where housewives win the Nobel Prize in physics, poker-playing children gamble over their bedtimes, and metaphorical elephants pirouette in the den, four and a half minutes at a time. His latest studio CD, The Great Indoors, brings 11 gems from his universe to yours.
